Ghandruk Hot Spring Trekking

First visit some of the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Sites in Kathmandu including, Soyambhunath-“The Monkey Temple”, Pashupatinath-“The Crematorium”, Boudhanath-“The Largest Buddhist Stupa in South Asia” and Kathmandu Durbar Square- ancient palace place and home for “KUMARI” who is believed as the living goddess.

Then take a scenic drive to Pokhara- “The City of Lakes” to explore some of the lakes, caves, streams and also to collect superb views of snowcapped mountains. From Pokhara, take a short drive to Phedi then start gentle hiking towards Jhinu Danda- the natural hot spring place passing Dhumpus then Landruk, a Gurung village. At Jhinu, enjoy bathing in the natural hot spring pool.

Then trek down to Ghandruk – a village situated in the lap of the Himalayas to explore the local culture and their own living styles. Thereafter, trek back to Kimche, take a short drive back to Pokhara to end the memorable hiking.


Ghandruk Hot Spring Trekking 

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. (1334m.).

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and preparation day.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara (820m.). Explore around in free time.

Day 4: Drive to Phedi(1.5 hours drive/1130m.) and trek to Dhumpus(3-4 hours trek/1650m.)

Day 5: Trek to Landruk (3-4 hours trek/1565m.)

Day 6: Trek to Jhinu Danda (3-4 hours trek/1780m.)

Day 7: Trek to Gandruk.(3-4 hours trek/1940m.)

Day 8: Trek to Kimche (2-3 hours trek/1640m.) and drive back to Pokhara (1.5 hours trek/820m.)

Day 9: Pokhara Exploration (820m.)

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu (6 hours drive/1334m.).

Day 11: Fly back home.
