Sikles Tara Hill Top Trekking
The ridge above the village of Sikles commands incredible views above the Eastern Annapurnas, including Annapurna IV (7,525 meters) Annapurna II (7,939 meters) and the hulk of Lamjung Himal (6,932 meters), and another dozen or more summits. All are impressively above 6,500 meters while sliding down from the heights of Annapurna II, is the huge icefall and glacier that feed into the Mardi Khola. The large village of Sikles is dominated by Gurungs, one the ethnic groups found only in Nepal. Many Gurungs have served in the British Army as Gurkhas.
