Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek

A dream trip to everyone, Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek combines exploring the city of temples, a Yoga Day and exploring stunning Everest region. Starts with spiritual morning Yoga in Kathmanwith spiritual Soyambhunath- “The Monkey Temple”, Pashupatinath- “The Crematorium”, Boudhanath- “Largest Buddhist Stupa in South Asia” and Kathmandu Durbar Square- historical palace place and the home for “KUMARI”- The living goddess.

The trip then directs towards Everest with a scenic flight to Lukla. Lukla onwards, the trekking begins, first through the Dudh Koshi Riverbank then passing the dense forest of Sagarmatha National Park to Namche Bazar. An acclimatisation day in Namche to adapt the thin air and exploring “The Sherpa Capital”.

Next stop Tengboche where the biggest Buddhist Monastery of Everest Region lies and the place which offers 360 views of mountains including the roof of the world- Everest. Gradually, to Everest Base Camp then to Kalapathar- Nepal’s best viewpoint to see Mount Everest. The way back to Lukla is equally stunning and entertaining.

Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek 

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1334m.) and transfer to the hotel. Rest in free time.

Day 2:  Yoga before Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and trekking preparation. Welcome, dinner in authentic Nepali restaurant with cultural program.

Day 3: Scenic flight to Lukla (45 minutes) and trek to Phakding (2,652m. /4-5 hours trekking/ 8km approx.)

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazar (3,440m. /5-6 hours trekking/ 10km approx.).

Day 5: Acclimatization day. Explore Sherpa Capital.

Day 6: Trek to Tengboche (3870m./5-6 hours trekking/ 10km approx.)

Day 7: Trek to Dingboche (4360m./5-6 hours trekking/ 8km approx.)

Day 8: Acclimatization day.

Day 9: Trek to Lobuche (4940m./ 5-6 hours trekking/ 7km approx.)

Day 10: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170m.)- Everest Base Camp (5364m.) and trek back to Gorakshep (7-8 hours trekking./ 15km approx.)

Day 11: Gorakshep to Kalapathar (5545m.) and trek to Pheriche (4280m./ 6-7 hours trek/ 15km trekking)

Day 12: Trek back to Namche Bazar (5-6 hours trekking/ 15km approx.)

Day 13: Trek back to Phakding (4-5 hours trekking/ 7 km approx.)

Day 14: Trek to Lukla (4-5 hours trekking/ 7km approx.)

Day 15: Scenic Flight back to Kathmandu (45 minutes flight). Last minute shopping. Farewell dinner at night.

Day 16: Fly back home.
