Chulu Peak Climbing

A non-technical climbing peak of Nepal- Chulu Peak is situated in famous Annapurna Region just north of wonderful Manang Valley. Mainly consists, two peaks- Chulu Far East and Chulu West Peak and here we describe  Chulu west.  Consider as the Mera Peak of Annapurna- it was first ascended by Japanese Expedition team in 1952. Levelled as easy climbing peak; no previous mountaineering experience is needed yet it is necessary to have high-level fitness and also better to have some ice climbing knowledge. Chulu West Peak climbing trip entertains with amazing views of Annapurna II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak and Manaslu.
The expedition includes a classic trekking in Annapurna region which fascinates to walk through yak pastures, sighting the ever-changing landscapes  and the exploration of hidden valley of Manang. Manang offers a truly amazing experience of exploring old traditions and the years old cultures which are widely influenced by Tibetan Culture. The inclusion of Thorang-La (5,416m.) pass- highest Himalayan pass and Kaligandaki Gorge-deepest gorge in the world add more fun and excitement to Chulu West Peak Climbing. Best season for Chulu peak climbing is April to May and October to September.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu valley sightseeing and trip arrangements.

Day 3: Drive to Beshishar (823m) 

Day 4: Trek to Bahundanda (1310 m) 

Day 5: Trek to Jagat (1314m)

Day 6: Trek to Dharapani (1943m) 

Day 7: Trek to Chame (2713m) 

Day 8: Trek to Pisang (3185m) 

Day 9: Trek to Manang (3351 m) 

Day  10: Acclimatization day. 

Day 11: Trek to Yak khark (4210m) 

Day 12: trek to Chulu West base camp 

Day 13: Trek to chulu west peak High Camp. 

Day 14:  Chulu west summit (6419 m)  and trek back to High camp.

Day 15: Extra day for bad weather. 

Day 16: Trek to Thorung phedi (4500m) 

Day 17: Cross Thorung La (5416m) trek to Muktinath.(3802m) 

Day 18: Trek jomsom (2720m) 

Day 19: Fly to Pokhara. 

Day 20: Pokhara exploration.

Day 21: Drive/fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 22: Fly back home.
