Chitwan Jungle Safari with Trishuli Rafting starts with exploring UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley which includes Kathmandu Durbar Sqaure, Swayambunath Temple which is also known as “Monkey Temple”, Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. Then it continues with Whitewater Rafting in Trishuli River which is popular as “Pool and Drop River”. And finally ends with exploring popular tourist destination and home of wildlife Chitwan National Park.

Upon arriving in Kathmandu (Tribhuvan International Airport), a Visit Heaven Trek representative will meet you and help you transfer to your hotel by private bus. Enjoy a free evening to explore Kathmandu and recover from your jet-lag. Meet the Visit Heaven staff during a short pre-tour briefing before welcome dinner with Visit Heaven Trek team.
A half-day guided tour around Kathmandu city’s historical and cultural landmarks. Visit Bouddhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple, the most important sites of Buddhism and Hinduism in Nepal. Catch the playful antics of the monkeys and beautiful city views at Swayambunath temple. Get lost in Kathmandu’s old city bazaars, public squares, and former royal palaces at Durbar Square.
We start our overland journey to Charoudhi (Trishuli River rafting put-in point) in the early morning from Kathmandu. The drive is for 3-4 hours on Prithvi Highway and it is scenic, which includes occasional views of snow-capped mountains, green hills, rivers and river valleys. Delicious breakfast awaits us on the way before we arrive at our destination at approx. 10:30 AM. First, we understand all the commands related to our safety and ultimate excitement, then drill for a while and eventually start rafting. The river is moderate type and has exciting waves as well as rapids enough to experience the thrill that the river has to offer. Once we finish our rafting, we have our lunch and continue our journey to Chitwan. Overnight in Chitwan.
Chitwan is a home of wildlife and no doubt a paradise for animal lovers. Your visit to Chitwan will be a memorable one as you join in some Cultural programmes & exciting Jungle activities including Tharu (typical ethnic group) Village Tour via Ox-cart, Slide Presentation regarding the area, its people and its wildlife, Elephant Back Safari to spot various wildlife including one horned rhino, Canoeing on National Park’s River namely Rapti, visit to Elephant Breeding Centre, Tharu Stick Dance performed by local villagers and Bird watching.
We continue our remaining activities in the early morning, have our breakfast and drive back to Kathmandu where our tour ends.
