Everest Base Camp Trekking Season

Best Everest Base Camp trekking seasons are Spring- March/April/May and autumn- end of September/October/November. The average temperature at Everest Base Camp in spring and autumn are warm. These days trekkers can trek with shorts and t-shirts at day time but still needed warm blankets and sleeping bags during night.

Trekking Everest in Monsoon- June-August is a bit hard as there will be heavy rainfall which obscure mountains and flights may delay or cancel for weeks due to the bad weather.  Trekking Everest Base Camp in December is possible and would be an ideal time for those loves less crowded Everest trekking trail but cold could a factor as sometimes heavy snowfalls happen and it could be freezing, and we advise trekking Everest this period with warm clothes and proper sleeping bags (-20 c).
